The Interior Design School

Website design and build

Creating a website for designers! …and improving management process through digital tools.

The previous Interior Design School website, was neither SEO friendly, nor responsive, fundamentally it did not reflect the company’s new brand identity.
Together, we defined a new and simpler architecture for the website, including clear call to action messages for the user. We also built an automatically filled-in database of applicants and people registering for open evenings so it can be tracked at any time by the IDS.
Through a bespoke design, we built a website that allows the IDS to feature their art, and photography. It is also more “human” as it now showcases the whole IDS team and says more about the students who attended the school.
The interior design school now has a more modern and contemporary looking website that is fit for purpose. Crucially, the newly designed registration form and applicant database allows the IDS staff to reduce time spent on admin. The bespoke CMS allows the staff to update the website easily giving them far more control.
[November 2014 update] Following IDS request to allow visitors to buy “Gift Vouchers”, we implemented the ability for the IDS to manage their PayPal account from the CMS itself.  Data is recorded in a “Gift Voucher” database, allowing IDS to be agile and organised in their marketing efforts.

Tom listened to us, has been patient, organised and has guided us throughout the whole process of re-building our website. As the Interior Design School, we had obviously high expectations in terms of design! Not only we are thrilled by our new website, but Tom helped us automate some admin tasks (payment, email marketing) allowing us to be much more productive. Great job really. The whole team at the IDS would highly recommend Tom and his company.
